Art and Breath Workshop
An experiential deep-dive with the art, breath, the process of making and the place from which we create. It connects the exhibition’s themes (impermanence, resilience, creativity) with the artists own lived experience and the creative process.
Step into a space where art, inspiration, and mindful practice intersect with healing. Experience the artwork of Dr. Ela Manga and Prof. Kirti Ranchod, hear the stories behind the work, and discover how creativity shapes approaches to medicine and wellbeing.
This collection explores the intersection of art, breath, creativity and medicine.
This exhibition marks a milestone - celebrating turning 50 for Ela and Kirti. After first meeting in 1993 as first year medical students at the University of Witwatersrand, they developed an instant and sustaining bond.
